Hi there! I’m Elder Lena Rattley. I’m currently a caregiver of my husband who was diagnosed with cancer. I joined this wonderful organization to lend support to people diagnosed with cancer and give support to their caregivers.

Myra Denkins Burnett – Executive Financial Officer
My name is Myra Denkins Burnett. I had two sisters battling breast cancer at the same time. My best friend was also a 2x breast cancer survivor, and was my emotional and spiritual support. Shortly after, she started this wonderful foundation called EmPOWERment In PINK. I joined EIP to support ALL CANCERS.
Beverly Batts – Assistant Financial Officer
My name is Beverly Batts. I’m 8 years cancer free. I was diagnosed in 2014. Cancer changed my life, for the better. I’ve been cancer-free for 8 years now. I am a member of EmPOWERment In PINK. EIP is an organization that supports all types of cancer.
Frances Wilson – Chaplain
I know the importance of supporting family and friends when a crisis happens. I’ve had several friends who were diagnosed with different types of cancer. So when the EmPOWERment In PINK non-profit organization was established I knew that this was an opportunity to assist by supporting, embracing, and caring for individuals and their families. We are called to be our brother’s/sister’s keeper.
Dortha Barnett – Hospitality Coordinator
My name is Dortha Barnett! I am a two-time cancer survivor! I contracted breast cancer in 2010 which went into remission at that time and came back in 2015 in my kidneys! I am PROUD to say that I am a 13-year cancer survivor!
Linda Jones – Hospitality Coordinator
I am a supporter of EmPOWERment In PINK. I was with my friend Cynthia and her family from the time she was diagnosed and throughout all of her treatment. I had first-hand experience of how important it is to support cancer individuals by embracing, caring, and sharing.
